NQ Football Performance and Coaching in partnership with Celtic Soccer Academy will give you the skills, expertise and relevant vocational qualifications to work within the football industry. It aims to develop a pathway/certification for football coaches, leading to further studies or possible employment with Celtic Football Club.

You will develop both your technical abilities and your tactical game while also focussing on your fitness, strength and endurance.

Weekly coaching sessions from the Celtic Soccer Academy are incorporated into the course as well as various SFA Awards.

The football coaching course consists of SQA Level 6 units, National Governing Bodies awards and college certificates which cover a range of practical and theoretical sports-related units.

Entry Requirements

3 relevant subjects at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview and pre-entry test.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.

Progression Routes

Relevant courses at SCQF Level 5 or 6.
