The college's experienced staff will teach you the fundamentals of client consultation, shampoo and conditioning, basic styling, cutting, and facial hair. There will also be the opportunity to further develop your creative skills in barbering.

Promoting and selling a variety of products and services alongside reception duties and the importance of health and safety will also be covered.

You will learn all of these skills in a realistic work environment, which provides preparation for work placement and excellent salon experience for progression to employment.

This course will include:
Working on real clients; Client consultation – and Health and Safety; Shampooing, conditioning and styling techniques; Men’s cutting; Colouring and lightening hair; Creative barbering work; Reception duties and selling techniques; Work experience in a local Barbers; Underpinning knowledge for Barbering services.
