This course is aimed at those interested in a career in the beauty industry. It introduces beauty therapy careers, and prepares for progression on to SVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy.

The course covers the knowledge and skills needed for beauty therapy and the make-up industry. These include: Make-up; Gel Polish; Anatomy and Physiology; Manicure; Facials; Waxing; Pedicure; Lash and Brow treatments including semi-permanent eyelash extensions; Communications; IT; Health and Safety.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English. Interview and written test.
