An excellent and exciting introduction to beauty and make-up designed for those wishing to work within the Beauty or Make-up industry. Offering a wide range of Cosmetic application techniques this course prepares the candidate for work in the world of make-up with added design flair for those wishing to enter the world of make-up artistry or beauty.

This course provides the qualifications you need to gain a junior role within the make-up industry develop creative skills in the application of make-up and learn the basic skills in beauty therapy or to progress to advanced level of study.

You will study:
Fantasy Make-up; Beauty: Drawing and Colouring Design Skills; Facial Skin Care; Day Make-up and Basic Corrective Make-up; Bridal and Evening Make-up; Manicure; Nail Art.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 including preferably English and a science subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Advice session and Interview.
