Content

This course is specifically designed to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare you for employment as a junior hairdresser. Your skills will be practised in a realistic working environment at our Hair and Beauty school.

This qualification includes all of the required skills to work as a junior hairdresser/stylist. You will study Health and Safety; Client Consultation; Shampoo and Conditioning Hair; Researching Working in the Hair Industry; Cutting Women's Hair; Colour and Lighten Hair and the Art of Dressing Hair at a minimum.

Training at D&A Hair School will increase your confidence and employment prospects as there is an exceptional standard of facilities and highly experienced lecturers. By training with the college, you will gain essential practical experience working on paying clients using excellent professional products from companies such as Wella/Sebastian which will enhance your experience.

Hairdressing (VTCT) Diploma Level 1; preferably plus 2 subjects at National 4; interview; skills test
