This course is ideal if you already have experience as a salon junior or a SCQF Level 4 beauty qualification and you want to develop your skills in the beauty and aesthetic industry.

You will be able to carry out a wide range of beauty treatments whilst building essential and life skills which will enable you to progress onto our advanced beauty and aesthetics course or exit into employment as a beauty therapist.

Course content includes:

Prescriptive Facial Therapies; Manicure, pedicure and gel polish treatments; Provide waxing treatments; Advanced eye techniques; Wellbeing and mindfulness; Self-tanning techniques; Back, neck and shoulder massage; The role of the salon leader; Recommendations of products and services; Health and hygiene; Core skills.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
