In today's world, hair professionals play a vital role in our health and well-being by helping us look and feel our best. The hairdressing industry is exciting and dynamic, requiring individuals to be caring, creative, hard-working, team players, and enjoy working with people. If you're interested in a career in hairdressing, this course is an excellent place to start.

Units include: shampooing, conditioning, scalp massage, drying, and styling techniques, including plaits and twists; general salon duties; and skill development for employment, including communication and teamwork.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 3; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 3. Entry is subject to interview.
