This course is designed to enable you to reach the highest qualifications held in Make-up Artistry in Scotland. With the fast-moving and growing industry this course will equip you with specialised skills, expanding creativity and artistic skills unique to a make-up artist.

An essential aspect of the course is working in industry alongside, meeting and observing Make-up Artists working in the field.

You'll study the following core units:-

Make-up Artistry: Essential Make-up Skills
Make-up Artistry: Hairstyling and Skills.
Make-up Artistry: 20th Century Make-up and Hairstyles.
Make-up Artistry: Specialised Make-Up Effects for TV and Film.
Make-up Artistry: Ageing Skills.
Make-up Artistry: Production Study.
Make-up Artistry: Graded Unit 2.

Additional units will be included to make up the full group award to gain your qualification at HND Level.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; or NQ Make-Up Artistry; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
