This course is an ideal introduction to a career in the Fashion Make-up industry, and perfect for anyone who has the passion and commitment to work hard and gain skills in fashion make-up and hairstyling.

You will develop a variety of skills which will enable you to produce a total look image incorporating skin care/preparation, make-up application, hair styling and finishing.

The course may include the following content:

Day make-up and basic corrective make-up; Bridal and evening make-up; Hairstyling for fashion make-up; Character make-up; Competition skills.

The above units are examples of what will be delivered within this course but may vary across campuses.

You may be required to attend 1 twilight session per week.

There will be ongoing assessments which will include practical tasks and portfolio development.

You should have good communication skills and a keen interest in a career in the Make-up industry.
