SVQ Hairdressing (SCQF Level 6) is a course which will allow you to gain and develop the advanced skills, knowledge and understanding of the industry sector and related industries at this level of study. The SVQ SCQF Level 6 programme is a qualification that should be recognised by any potential employer as a measure of your abilities and should allow for employment as a Stylist within the hairdressing industry.

The course is delivered on a full-time basis and will provide you with a qualification and a defined skill set which reflects the skills essential for a successful career in this sector of employment. The main aim of the award is to build upon existing skills, deepening knowledge and the professional principles and practices of Hairdressing which will help you to make informed future career choices and enhance your employability skills.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Your application and interview will form part of the selection process along with a diagnostic and practical test.
