Content

This course enhances nail technicians' skills with sculpting and 3D nail art, fostering creativity. It includes business aspects for self-employment or management roles. Paired activities and model assessments are mandatory.

Units include: Enhance and maintain nails using UV gel; Enhance and maintain nails using liquid and powder; Individual lashes; Provide self-tanning services; Plan and create nail art design; Design a range of creative nail images; Prepare and finish nail overlays using electric files; Monitor procedures to safely control work operations; Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business; Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities.

Entry Requirements

NVQ Nail Services (VTCT) Diploma Level 2; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.

You must be a minimum of 16, have manual dexterity, a pleasant manner, and a keen interest in the nail services industry.
