Education Support Assistants are generally employed within schools to support the work of class teachers in learning activities. Education Support Assistants are often involved in supporting and supervising tasks set by teachers to individuals and groups of pupils. This can be in primary schools, secondary schools and sometimes in the private childcare sector.
Subjects at National 5 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Relevant work experience/volunteering. Interview.
