This course is an excellent stepping stone into the motor vehicle industry.

This qualification is designed as a pre-apprentice course and covers most of the basic technical elements required within the motor vehicle repair industry.
The course provides essential knowledge for service technicians working on light vehicles (cars and vans) in all garage types.

This course is a mix of hands on practical activities and theory allowing candidates to gain technical knowledge and valuable skills required for employment in the motor vehicle industry.

Entry Requirements

You should be able to study at National 4 Level or above, or completed a relevant introductory course. You will attend an interview and advice session.
