This programme, for the performance student, is linked to the Rugby, Football and Mountain Biking programmes to allow candidates to develop their individual performance skills.

For candidates with a sport and exercise background the course allows them to gain academic qualifications along with Coaching awards – students will have the opportunity to gain the UKCC Level 1 award in Coaching.

This award allows candidates to progress to employment or University. Units covered include Anatomy and Physiology, Fitness Testing, Coaching Children, Strength and Conditioning and Sport-related research projects.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; English and/or Physical Education preferred; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
