This motor vehicle course delves deep into vehicle systems, honing advanced repair skills and focusing on diagnostic expertise. In our workshop, you'll tackle diverse faults, electrical, engine, chassis, and transmission, providing hands-on solutions.

Content includes:

acquire in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems; develop advanced skills in diagnosing and rectifying problems; practice diagnosing various faults, including electrical, engine, chassis, and transmission issues; apply repair skills to address problems and confirm diagnoses; expand inspection skills and gain tips for effective and safe work in an automotive environment; and, build transferable skills in communication, numeracy, ICT, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Entry Requirements

Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (IMI) (Level 5). Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Modern Apprenticeship or employment or relevant HNC course.
