Placements in schools provide you with insight into the role of the teacher and the diverse range of professionals involved in the education and care of children and young people. They also enable you to begin to develop professional skills required.
Years 3 and 4: In years 3 and 4, you focus more on the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for effective primary teaching. You become familiar with Scottish education and current initiatives in education.
