Years 1 and 2: In years 1 and 2, core modules cover subjects such as Lifestyles and Societies, Cultural Communication, and Inter-professional Working. These modules are available to all students at UWS, and you have the opportunity to work with students in other schools and faculties. In the first two years of the course, options are offered in the School of Education and in other schools. Placements in schools provide you with insight into the role of the teacher and the diverse range of professionals involved in the education and care of children and young people. They also enable you to begin to develop professional skills required.
