This course develops skills and knowledge for a career in hairdressing and the service industries. Learners will develop competence and efficiency in all aspects of hairdressing and the ability and confidence to meet the needs of the hairdressing industry. You will be required to participate in a work placement one day per week.

Content includes:
Monitor and Maintain Health and Safety practice in the salon; Hairdressing consultation support; Style and dress hair using a variety of techniques; Cut hair to achieve a variety of looks; Colour hair to achieve a variety of looks; Promote and sell products and services to clients; Hair colour correction techniques.

Entry Requirements

Hairdressing (VTCT) Level 2.
