This course is suited to those who want to enhance their hairdressing skill set. You’ll develop your understanding and skills in client consultation, styling, dressing, cutting, colouring and lightening.

There is also a focus on specialist areas such as colour correction and creative hairdressing design skills.

As well as getting the opportunity for commercial experience in a local salon, you’ll learn about the selling and promotion of products and services and the importance of health and safety.

You will learn in a realistic work environment, which provides preparation for work placement and excellent salon experience for progression to employment.
