This course aims to introduce the skills and knowledge required to follow a professional career path within the building industry at technician level. Mainly taught within a classroom environment, practical experience is gained from site visits, field trips and laboratory workshops.

Subjects studied include:

Renewable energy; Building design; Technology; Computer aided drawing; Sustainability; Building performance; and, Measurement and costing.

Entry Requirements

Construction Multiskills (NPA) (Level 5) or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
