Dive into the world of cyber threats and learn advanced techniques for identifying, analysing, and responding to security incidents. You’ll learn about the importance of integrating security into the software development lifecycle and gain hands-on experience in writing secure code, conducting security reviews, and implementing best practices to create resilient and robust software systems.

Deepening your understanding of network security, you will explore advanced concepts in intrusion detection, prevention, and digital forensics. This will support you to develop your skills to investigate and analyse security incidents, providing invaluable insights into cyber threats.

The BEng Cyber Security programme will provide students with a range of summative and assessment opportunities in a range of formats. This will include end of module examinations, essays, group/individual presentations and projects.
