Content

An Cùrsa Comais is a highly participative and interactive grammar-based course in which tutors use communicative methodologies to draw out speech in group- and pairwork activities. It is designed for intermediate level learners whose aim is fluency in the language. The major focus is therefore on language skills, both speaking and writing, but other subjects will be introduced as the course progresses. Students will undertake three weeks of work placement on the Workplace Experience module.

An Cùrsa Comais develops students’ language abilities and confidence in using the language through intensive language teaching approaches and by employing immersion techniques. You will also have the opportunity to go on work placement, which will greatly help your all-round language skills, as well as develop your practical and work skills.

Entry Requirements

3 Highers at BBC including Gàidhlig or Gaelic (Learners) at B. You may be asked along to an interview for your Gaelic language skills to be assessed.
