Content

This course prepares individuals for careers in the football industry, offering practical training for playing performance in an elite setting. It also develops skills in Coaching, Football Development, Scouting and Talent ID, and Sport Science, catering to various roles within the industry.

You will study:
Basic sports coaching techniques; Deliver a coaching programme: football; Free & Fixed weights; Sporting activity: association football; Sporting activity participation and performance; Sports officiating and organising – formal: association football; Nutrition and health; Sports: activity and participation opportunities in the community; Event organisation; Scouting and talent identification; Developing technical performance in football.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5, or Intermediate Certificate: Sport and Fitness (Level 5), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
