This course provides you with an ideal introduction to a career in science, technology, biotechnology or in health related studies. As well as an excellent grounding in a variety of scientific fields, it will also give you the skills and knowledge you need to have before you can go to university.

You can tailor this course to suit your interests. Topics include Biology; Human Biology; Chemistry; Environmental Science; Mathematics and English.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including Biology is preferred; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.

Progression Routes

The Access programme should open up higher level study options including the HNC Applied Sciences and science related degrees.

This course prepares you for a wide range of career options in science, physiotherapy, podiatry, technology and health based industries. Further study may be open to you at degree level in science, technology, environmental or health related science fields.
