If you're looking to pursue a career in a health profession which is both challenging and rewarding then this course is for you. You may be a school leaver who as yet, does not have the required entry qualifications to go direct to University. This is a full time course where you will be given the necessary education to make an application through UCAS to progress onto the first year of a Nursing degree or onto HNC Care and Administrative Practice which could lead to an Allied Health Profession related degree.

Content:
Communications 4; Literature 1; Higher Care (Human Development and Behaviour Social Influences and Values and Principles); Higher Human Biology; Numeracy; IT; Caring for People with Dementia;
Mental Health Issues.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher plus 5 subjects at National 5 including English and Biology, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.

You must be at least 17 years of age.
