This HNC course is designed for those aspiring to become football coaches, offering practical training and industry connections with Fife football clubs. It equips students with skills for various sports settings and includes a Professional Development Award in Sports Coaching, certified by Sportscotland and CIMSPA, recognized by Community Leisure UK (Scotland).

Subjects Include:
Human Anatomy; Physiology and Biomechanics; Sports Coaching Practitioner: Knowing Self, Knowing Coaching, Knowing Others; Sports Development; Sports Coaching and Development: Developing Professional Practice ; Graded Unit 1.

The Graded Unit allows the candidate to explore a topic that is of particular relevance to their own future career aspirations.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers; English, Physical Education or a science subject preferred plus National 5 English (if not held at Higher); or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
