This course is aimed at students who wish to study a Life Science degree at the University of Glasgow (UofG) and who meet the widening participation criteria detailed below.

This course is enhanced with additional studies carried out at the UofG to allow you to articulate into the 2nd year of Life Sciences degree programmes upon successful completion.

Content includes:
Biology; Microbiology; Biochemistry; Chemistry; Mathematics and statistics; Laboratory skills.

Entry Requirements

Higher Biology (or Human Biology) or Chemistry (Foundation Apprenticeship Scientific Technologies will be accepted in place of Higher Chemistry) plus National 5 English, Maths and Biology or Chemistry (whichever is not held at Higher) at A or B; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.

You must meet widening access criteria.
