Politics deals with the environment in which everyone has to live and work. Our courses cover most aspects of Politics, with opportunities for the study of Political Theory, Public Policy, Comparative Politics and International Relations. Many courses have a strong sociological content and will help you acquire the thorough understanding of the political and social environment needed for personal and career development You will develop skills in written and oral presentation and in locating and analysing data and texts to make sense of the rapidly changing world and to prepare you for postgraduate study should you so choose.
2025 entry requirements:
4 Highers at AABB (BBBC for widening access entry).
Advanced entry to 2nd year available with Advanced Highers at AB and Highers at BB.
