This two-year course specialises in network infrastructure, and the security and maintenance of that infrastructure. It is intended to prepare you for employment in the fields of networking, technical support and cyber security within the computing and IT industries.

You are also given the opportunity to enter WorldSkills competitions. Glasgow Clyde College are the lead developers for the cyber security competition, and we have consistent participation in the following competitions:

- Cyber security
- IT support technician
- Network infrastructure technician
- Network server administrator
- Web development

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths, Computing, IT or a science subject plus English at National 5; or a relevant NQ or equivalent qualification. You may be required to attend an interview.

Direct entry to year two of the HND may be possible if you already have a relevant HNC.
