Content

This course is aimed at those who want to develop skills in a wide range of computing and digital media subjects. It is designed to develop your knowledge and skills in the use of contemporary applications of computing and digital media technologies being used in the industry today.

You will study: Computer hardware and operating systems; Computer networking technologies; Mobile technology systems; Network security and digital forensics; Software design and development; 2D animation; Website design and development; HTML5 coding; Information systems design and development; Office applications; Numeracy and communication; Personal development; Computing and digital media project.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4, preferably including Computing Science, or Certificate: Computing with Digital Media, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
