This is a highly rewarding course that sets you up with the essential understanding you need to go onto HNC and HND study, so that you can progress to degree courses and jobs in the biological and chemical sciences.

Building on the knowledge you developed at National 5 level, you’ll study a range of biology and chemistry units and build practical lab skills to support your progression.

Subjects include:
Introductory biology and chemistry units; Human Biology (Higher units); Chemistry (Higher units); Mathematics for science; Practical science units.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English, Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A or B, or NQ Applied Sciences (Level 5). Interview.
