Main campus
This course provides a foundation understanding of what society and social behaviour are all about. It offers students the opportunity to examine their own lives and those of others using a framework of theory and research. Students are actively encouraged to look in more detail at the reasons why people do what they do, are there personal, social, political or historical reasons for different behaviours? All of these questions are posed and explored in detail to encourage students to expand their minds and see a much bigger picture.
Content may include: Psychology, Sociology, Modern Studies, Criminology, History, Communication, Philosophy.
