Pathway to Rural Skills is a January to June Full Time course that will introduce learners to outdoor practical work with a pathway onto our full time Workstart: Rural Skills in August.

The Pathway to Rural Skills embeds these 4 themes:

Personal Development - Looking at practical abilities and where your strengths are.
Practical Rural skills – We work with local and national rural employers to help young people learn the practical skills needed in the rural economy.
Introduction to Core Skills
Introduction to Hospitality
Introduction to Construction
The course is from January to June, full-time, 16 hours per week. Students must be prepared to participate in outdoor work.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements, selection by interview. Students should be aged 16 or over.
