Content

Routes into Employment is a refreshed and forward-looking 36-week programme designed to support learners as they move from school into the world of work or further vocational study. Delivered at SCQF Level 4, the course is structured into two 18-week phases that blend classroom learning with meaningful, college-organised work placements.

The programme focuses on developing the core capabilities employers value most: confidence, communication, practical skills, and the meta-skills needed to adapt and thrive in real workplace environments. Learners build these skills through a combination of core learning, guided support, and a wide range of optional units that allow personalisation based on interests and career goals.
