The purpose of this course is to develop skills that will support you for life and develop your skills towards the world of work. It is an ideal programme if you have successfully completed the Lifeskills Level 3 course or a similar learning programme and looking to further develop your skills to promote independent living.

Pathway opportunities include employment support or further self-development and Meta skills development.

You will develop personal and employability skills through a variety of topics and will be given support to develop your confidence in becoming more independent, as well as developing an individualised personal learning and support plan to meet your personal needs and aspirations.

Working with others is one area that is emphasised throughout this programme and is embedded in a variety of learning activities, projects, and themes.

You may also have the opportunity to participate in a residential experience to embed the skills learning in becoming independent.

Entry Requirements

Lifeskills (Level 3) or other relevant course at SCQF Level 3. You will take part in an interview/transition process to establish if this course is suitable for you.
