Delivered in partnership with NHS Tayside and DHSCP, DFN Project Search is a transition to work programme committed to transforming the lives of young people with learning disabilities and autism. The goal for each participant is competitive employment.
The programme provides real-life work experience combined with training in employability and independent-living skills to help young people make successful transitions to productive adult life. This FT course is based in Ninewells Hospital.
There are no formal entry requirements, however, applicants should have a strong desire to work full-time. Experience in volunteering can be beneficial. The application process includes an information session, and potential candidates will be invited to a practical interview assessment day.
