This course offers a supportive environment for learners with additional support needs, enabling them to continue their studies, adapt to their new surroundings, and explore opportunities across the college.

This is a great opportunity for young people who require support with their learning to consider their next steps and prepare for further education and future employment. The course timetable includes essential skills, career management skills, health and well-being, and enterprise. Learners can also participate in various vocational subjects offered at the college.

No formal entry requirements. Learners on this course should be able to work at the required level of study, at times, independently. Some practical classes may require a level of physical ability or fitness.

Progression Routes

Learners may have the opportunity to progress onto other courses within Supported Education or vocational courses within D&A College. Those wishing to seek employment would be referred to the Employment Support Service.
