Scotland's largest Healthboard are recruiting 75 young people aged between 16 and 24 years into a wide range of full time work based training programmes with the guarantee of a permanent contract of employment on successful completion of the programme. 

They anticipate that opportunities in 2017 will include apprenticeships in the following areas:

• Administration
• Decontamination – Sterile Services
• E-health – Health Records, Library Assistant and IT Procurement
• Engineering – Estates, Sterile Services and Bio-engineering
• Health and Safety
• Healthcare support workers – Community Services including Community Children’s Services and Oral Health
• Healthcare Support Workers – Health Science Services including Audiology and Ophthalmology
• Health care Support workers – Nursing specialities including Theatres
• Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technicians
• Prosthetics – Prosthetics Technician.

Entry requirements vary for each post and will range from  National 4 qualifications or their equivalent up to Higher’s or equivalent.
