Trainee Engineer Programme

On the SSE Trainee Engineer Programme you have the opportunity to study for a Degree in Electrical Power Engineering over two years (equivalent to first two years of an honours degree).

When not studying you'll spend time on placement at depots, power stations and control rooms, learning from experiences crafts people and engineers.

Training, earning a qualification and getting paid - this is a fantastic opportunity.

Apprenticeship Programme

ON the SSE Apprenticeship Programme you will learn new skills and work towards completing a Modern Apprenticeship over three or four years - the qualification you earn depends on which route you take.

You'll also earn a salary whilst gaining experience and completing your qualification.
