The Law School at Strathclyde is one of Scotland’s leading providers of legal education.

Studying law concerns the obligations, duties and rights of every member of society in relation to their neighbours and to society.

Their expertise extends beyond the traditional core subjects essential for entry to the legal profession into construction law, criminology, human rights law, information technology and telecommunications law, mediation studies and international economic law.

Year 1:
Criminal Law and Evidence, Law of Persons, Legal Processes and Systems, Constitutional Law, Obligations 1, Law and Society. You may apply to join the Law Clinic and integrate this into a degree of LLB (Clinical) at this stage.

Year 2:
Administrative Law and Fundamental Rights, Obligations 2, Law of Property, EU Law, Commercial Law,
plus one optional law module.

Year 3:
5 Optional law modules, Reflective project.

Year 4:
Dissertation and four optional law modules.

2027 entry requirements

Standard entry:
5 Highers at AAAAB (first sitting) or 7 Highers at AAAABBB (two sittings) including English plus Maths or Applications of Maths at National 5.

Widening access entry:
5 Highers at ABBBB (first sitting) or 6 Highers at AABBBB (two sittings) including English plus Maths or Applications of Maths at National 5.
