This Lifelong Learning course offers learning opportunities for adults who need additional support for learning. It aims to support personal development, self-determination and social inclusion. The course subjects consist of half-day sessions.
These half-day sessions help to improve your practical skills and support you to work with others in a small, informal group.
Cardonald Campus - Creative hub/Volunteering:
Learning to use materials to create items for sale; Learing new techniques to create craft items. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer in the college shop.
Langside Campus - Creative media.
Watch and listen to examples of media, like tv shows, adverts, songs, podcasts and videos
Look over stories and articles from newspapers and magazines; Learn how to make your own media, like drawing a comic, making a poster / advert, recording a short video or creating a simple podcast; Talk about how media can make people feel happy, excited or even help them lear new things.
Teaching takes place in informal small groups.
Relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 2.
Returning students will be assessed by subject tutors and interviewed by guidance staff and advised of suitable progression routes.
