Are you part of a youth or community project and thinking about a career in youth work? Or maybe you already volunteer in a community youth setting and want to gain qualifications that recognise your skills and knowledge? If so, the PDA in Youth and Community Work could be perfect for you!
You can study full-time or part-time, working towards a PDA in Youth Work alongside SQA Core Skills qualifications. Plus, our college-based sessions will help you build a personal youth work toolkit to support your journey.
During the PDA Youth and Community Work course you'll work towards:
PDA in Youth Work; SQA core skill (Level 5 / Level 6); Introduction to counselling, safeguarding, trauma informed practice and first aid; Personal toolkit; Children and young people: Rights and protection.
No formal entry requirements.
If you successfully complete this course you may progress to health and social care programmes at Glasgow Clyde College, or to HNC Working with Communities at Glasgow Kelvin College.
