This course provides a solid foundation for aspiring Spa Therapists. Through a combination of theoretical and practical learning, you'll gain essential skills and insights to excel in this industry. Some of the units you may study include:
Body Massage; Anatomy and Physiology; Health and Safety; Consultation and Customer Care Skills; and, Professional Spa Work Placement.
Beyond the classroom, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills through:
hands-on experience in our commercial training salons; participation in promotional events, such as campus wellbeing days; and, undertake meaningful work experience.
4 subjects at National 5 or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
