Year 1
Mathematics for Engineers I and II; Engineering Practice; Introduction to Structural Analysis; Engineering Materials; Surveying; Group Project.

Year 2
Mathematics for Engineers III and IV; Structural Analysis; Structural Analysis and Design; Fluid Mechanics for Civil Engineers; Soil Mechanics Concepts; Group Project.

Year 3
Civil Engineering Materials; Civil Engineering Hydraulics; Soil Mechanics Applications; Reinforced Concrete Design; Steel Design; Sustainable Infrastructure; Concept Design.

Year 4
Advanced Structural Analysis; Geotechnical Design; Concrete Durability and Repair; Water Resources.

Entry Requirements

2026 entry requirements:

4 Highers at BBBC including Maths and a science or technological subject, Physics preferred, or a relevant Foundation or Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6 plus Higher Maths and a science or technological subject (Physics preferred).
