Content

Work is a big part of independent living, so this course will show you how to gain work experience and develop your skills and personal qualities in the workplace. You’ll get involved in teamwork, enterprise activities and projects, learn employability skills and participate in practical work and/or volunteering experience.

The course runs three days per week.

Course content includes:
Money management; Employability; Personal development; Practical skills.

You'll develop a personal learning and support plan to help suit your needs and ambitions. We’ll also support you to figure out what’s next - which could be further study, volunteering, training or work.

Entry Requirements

National qualifications at SCQF Level 3 (from all subject areas). You must show the ability to engage and participate at the level required for this course (as evidenced at the selection day). You must also show the ability to work independently and with others.
