This is the perfect course for those who are interested in alternative therapies. You will be introduced to the calming and tranquil world of holistic and complementary therapies, learning the basic skills required to work with clients to give expert care, guidance and treatment.

You will study the following:
Anatomy and physiology; Basic massage therapy techniques; Basic reflexology techniques; Basic aromatherapy techniques; Healthy eating and wellbeing; Clinic services; Business awareness.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English and a science subject. Interview and skills test.

Progression Routes

Successful students on this course could progress to Level 3 Beauty Therapy Massage or Level 3 Complementary Therapy qualification.
