Explore fundamental aspects of Space and Aerospace through a primarily theory-based course with some workshop-based learning, honing basic hand skills relevant to the space industry.

Subjects may include:

Space Fundamentals; Navigation and Recapture; Satellite Technology; Hand Fitting Techniques; Electronic Practical Skills; Introduction to CAD/CAM; Satellite Manufacturing Project; Launcher Technology; and Materials for Space Technology.

Entry Requirements

4 relevant subjects at National 5 including Maths and Physics; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF level 5. Entry by interview.
