MA History and Scottish History brings together courses on Scottish history with those from wider historical study. It allows you to combine a well-rounded and broad training in history with a particular focus on Scotland's past.

The University of Edinburgh has always been one of the great centres for the study of Scottish history, and offers an unrivalled concentration of expertise in this field. This programme fuses Edinburgh's excellence in this particular field with the wider offerings of its large and diverse history department.

4 Highers at AABB (first sitting) or AAAB (two sittings) plus English at National 5.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at ABBB (two sittings) plus English at National 5. Highers at BBB must be achieved in one.
