Are you good with people, hardworking and creative? Then this could be the course for you! Our NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing (SCQF Level 5) course will enable you to build on existing basic hairdressing skills and enable you to follow a career in hairdressing.

The course is designed to develop your skills and knowledge in basic hair cutting, colouring and styling and prepares you for further study and/or employment as a trainee hairstylist within a salon.

Units can include:

Shampooing and conditioning hair; Styling hair; Cutting hair; Colouring hair; Long hair work; Competition work; Commercial salon; Work experience.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements although SfW Hairdressing level 4 or 5 is an advantage. or other relevant national qualifications.
