Healthcare will always be in demand, and this course will give you the essential qualifications you need to get started. You’ll be supported by a guidance tutor and gain a valuable ESOL qualification, there will be a focus on working with others and perfecting your practical abilities and self-development.

During this ESOL Gateway to Healthcare course, you will study:
Skills for Work: Health sector national 4 units (SCQF Level 4); Employability units (SCQF Level 5); Personal development units (SCQF Level 5); Industry recognised qualifications; ESOL for everyday life National 5.

Entry Requirements

National 4 ESOL (Minimum of 2 units achieved). An interest in working in the Health Care sector. Interview. You will be required to provide evidence of current English level and you may be required to do an assessment to ensure you are offered a class at the correct level.

Progression Routes

Successful students may progress onto health and social care courses at Glasgow Clyde College.
