This Wildlife and Conservation Management Degree has been created to provide students with a broad range of skills and knowledge to prepare them for careers in the conservation, ecology and land management sector.

Biodiversity conservation, ecological surveying, habitat management, visitor management and environmental education are just a few examples of topic areas covered in this dynamic course taught by enthusiastic lecturers with direct experience in research and practice.

Wildlife and Conservation Management students will be taught practical and applied skills underpinned by academic theory to be able to understand, manage and restore a wide variety of national and international species and habitats. This programme also teaches the knowledge and skills to work with people in the environment to ensure our natural spaces and the wildlife within are protected, enjoyed, and understood by all.

Content includes: Community Project Management; Multi-Purpose Woodland Management; Ecological Principles and Applications; Rural Planning; Environmental Impact Assessments; Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
